I’m headed to Maine on Sunday to attend the Collaborative for Access and Successful College Outcomes (CASCO) Conference at Bowdoin College.  This is the 4^th annual Conference but will be my 1^st time attending.  I am very grateful for a grant from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation that allows me to attend and I look forward to integrating what I learn into my practice and for sharing as much as possible with others who work with underrepresented and first-generation college students.

As an added bonus, it will be my 1^st time back on the Bowdoin campus since my son, Joshua graduated in 2013.  It was cold and rainy for his graduation, so I’m hoping for warmer and less wet weather.  I know that I am a bit biased, but to me, the campus is absolutely beautiful any time of year and any kind of weather!
