OCTOBER 1st!!!

If you have a child in college or who will be entering college next year, October 1st is a VERY important date to remember.  Why? Because October 1st is the date that the new, the next academic year of 2018-19 FAFSA (https://fafsa.ed.gov/) and CSS Profile ( https://student.collegeboard.org/css-financial-aid-profile) will be available for completing and submitting.

If this is your child’s (i.e. child under the age of 24) first time to complete a FAFSA, you MUST both (i.e. student plus one parent or guardian) apply for an FSA ID as these ids are required to submit the FAFSA, https://fsaid.ed.gov/npas/index.htm.  Apply now to avoid processing delays and to be ready for October 1st!

REMEMBER:  Many colleges follow a first come, first serve process when it comes to financial aid!
